So, what are the ways that smokers can follow to quit smoking successfully? There are a lot of ways on how a smoker can quit. First way is “cold turkey”, they have to be committed to quitting; they should be consistent about giving up smoking and should have their willpower and control over their selves. Second, find alternative sources for cigarettes such as gums, or candies. Lastly, medications such as Zyban, helps relieve withdrawal symptoms without the use of nicotine. Those who want to quit can try these until they succeed.
However, despite all the risk a smoker could have from smoking, they still want to smoke. So, why do people smoke? People choose to smoke because of different reasons. Whatever reason they may have, it will still cause them health problems after stopping the anxiety symptoms, but these will come again to them after smoking a stick of cigarette.
Smoking or even chewing tobacco is harmful for people’s health. It could cause you several kinds of cancers and cardiac arrests are leading to deaths for both men and women. This usually happens to people who smoke excessively and have been addicted to smoking for almost half of their lives.
People are usually mistaken with heart attacks and anxiety heart attacks. Heart attack is obtained by people who smoke regularly. The more they smoke the higher risk of heart attack. Anxiety heart attack or panic attack is a symptom of anxiety disorder. People experiencing anxiety heart attack may have chest pain or think that they have a heart attack. The symptom goes away after an hour. This indicates the presence of anxiety, depression, and panic disorder.
It is normal to experience stress, and anxiety but if people want to feel relieved, they should know that smoking is not the best treatment for anxiety especially if the symptoms need serious attention. Find something that will help you fight stress for good. If you want to live a healthy life, then you should quit.
